Milia are small white bump-like cysts found under the skin. They are usually miniscule in size. Milia occurs when Keratin becomes trapped beneath the surface of the skin. Keratin is a strong protein found in the skin, hair and nail cells. Typically they appear on the face, lips, nose, cheeks and eyelids.
